I have not dropped off the face of the earth. I've merely disappeared under these huge piles of paperwork that are really thumbnails for 2 classes and tests for another. Between school and work, I'm attempting to stay drama-free. That's actually going pretty well, thanks girls! :)
Speaking of you girls... this would be a fabulous time to mention that Josh is HOT. I'm glad we took him to Lowe's. Hope he's okay... ;) Maryska, we need to talk about that huge voicemail I left u today.....
Paper Zone is still FAB and I might need another trip there this weekend. That's actually what I should be working on right now instead of hanging out online. At least I'm not on myspace. Well, right now, anyways... lol Seattle is cold. 'Tho it felt warmer tonight than it did this afternoon when I walked to work.
Ah yes, the weather. There was snow up north overnight last night, but none here in downtown. Some schools cancelled today and it looks like the kids will be going until the end of June. Yikes! Apparently this winter has been a-typical and we haven't had that much rain. Wierd. I thought it snowed all the time here...
Hope all of you in upstate NY are keeping warm, dry & safe. I miss you and can't wait to see you! I'll be home March 23rd...
I can't believe it's March already.
Becky was here last weekend. Friday night, we ate Mexican and watched Music & Lyrics. Saturday, we stopped for coffee on our way to the Underground Tour. Did you know that Seattle is built on top of the original Seattle? Well, it's true and we saw it. It's very neat. You should go! Then we wandered around Elliott Bay Book Co. Next stop, U. Village. We had summer rolls at Zao noodle bar then shopped but didn't buy much. You'll be excited to know that I ordered a Shuffle. I couldn't justify the cost of a Nano when I like to listen to the city as much as I do. But Caleb hooked me up. Supposedly. I haven't actually seen it yet... From U. Village, we headed to Fremont. After coffee at Caffe Ladro, we wandered to the statue of Lenin, the rocket, burnt sugar/frankie's, and finally waiting for the interurban.
You know, I should blog from my laptop so I could actually post pictures.....
From Fremont, we headed down to Southcenter to Bahama Breeze. We met Beth, Stacey, Glen, Spencer, Phil, Andrew. Peter & Rick. It was fun. :) Then Becky headed back to Michelle's and Stacey & Beth took me home.
Monday night, I met Becky, El, Char, Josh, Spencer, Glen, Andrew & Mike at Red Robin in Bell Square. I was feeling quite unsocial by the time I got there - the result of a l..o..n..g day. But it was fun to hang out.
And then it was back to the reality of work and school and hanging out by myself.
Oh, but Luke is going to teach me Photoshop hopefully. Which is good because I should know how to use it. And also good because he's cute and tall and has red hair..... ;)
Katie Lou, I miss you.
